A single blood test can screen for signals linked to multiple cancers, using LucenceINSIGHT liquid-biopsy technology (circulating tumour DNA). If a signal is found, our doctor will guide you on the appropriate follow-up.
*The upgrade price applies when LucenceINSIGHT is added to a health screening package. It is an upgrade, not an add-on: the package's standard tumour-marker blood tests are swapped for the LucenceINSIGHT tests.

Three tiers of the LucenceINSIGHT range, differing by how many cancers are screened. Compare what each covers and review the right fit with our doctor.
All tiers include a comprehensive report. This screen does not replace recommended screening such as mammogram, colonoscopy or Pap smear.
Covers up to 50 cancer types across head and neck, breast and thoracic, digestive, gynaecologic, blood, musculoskeletal, genitourinary and skin. Full list available below.
A ctRNA boost is available as a chargeable add-on to this tier.

A liquid biopsy is a blood test that checks for signals of cancer by looking for circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA), tiny fragments of DNA that tumours can shed into the bloodstream. Unlike a tissue biopsy, which removes a sample from a suspected tumour, a liquid biopsy needs only a routine blood draw, so it is minimally invasive and can screen for several cancers at once.
Circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) are fragments of DNA that tumours shed into the blood. Circulating tumour RNA (ctRNA) are cancer signals shed by living cancer cells. LucenceINSIGHT reads ctDNA and, in some tiers, adds a ctRNA boost to improve cancer-signal detection. The ctRNA boost is included with the Comprehensive (50) tier and is available as a chargeable add-on for the Women's / Men's (12) tier. It is most useful for people at higher risk, such as those with a family history of lung, colon or breast cancer, or heavy smokers.

In Singapore, about 1 in 4 people may develop cancer in their lifetime (Singapore Cancer Registry). Many cancers cause few or no symptoms early on, and only a handful have national screening programmes. A multi-cancer blood test widens the net, looking for signals across many cancers from a single draw, so that anything found can be looked into sooner.

Results are always interpreted alongside your history, symptoms and other findings, with your doctor.
Traditional tools such as mammogram, colonoscopy, Pap smear and imaging each focus on one area at a time and remain the standard for the cancers they cover.
However, national programmes cover only a few cancers. Around 8 in 10 cancer deaths involve cancers that common screening programmes do not cover, [3] and repeated tumour-marker testing can produce false positives over time. [4]
A liquid biopsy works differently: it screens broadly for signals across many cancers from a blood sample.

LucenceINSIGHT™ is developed by Lucence Diagnostics, a precision-oncology company headquartered in Singapore and Palo Alto. It uses proprietary technology to read circulating tumour DNA and/or circulating tumour RNA (ctRNA) from a blood sample. Its next-generation sequencing (NGS) method screens for up to 50 cancers with 99% specificity, meaning low false positives. [1]

No. It screens for signals that may be associated with certain cancers, using circulating tumour DNA. A signal is not a diagnosis and needs confirmatory tests, which our doctor will guide you through.
Accuracy varies by cancer type and stage. Liquid biopsy is generally better at picking up signals from more advanced cancers.
A tissue biopsy takes a sample directly from a suspected tumour and is used to diagnose cancer. A liquid biopsy uses a blood sample to look for tumour DNA, and is used for screening and monitoring rather than diagnosis.
Circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) are DNA fragments that tumours shed into the blood; circulating tumour RNA (ctRNA) are signals shed by living cancer cells. LucenceINSIGHT analyses ctDNA, and adds a ctRNA boost in the Comprehensive tier (and as an add-on to the 12-cancer tier) to improve detection.
Liquid biopsies are less invasive and can be performed more frequently as a routine screening method.
It needs only a routine blood draw so it is about as comfortable as any blood test.
Core screens 6 common cancers; the Women’s / Men’s tier screens 12 cancers including gender-specific ones; and the Comprehensive tier screens up to 50 cancer types. The full list is shown above.
A normal result means no cancer-associated DNA signals were found in your sample, suggesting the absence of detectable cancer or insufficient ctDNA shedding. It does not guarantee you are cancer-free, so continue with your recommended routine screening and see your doctor about any symptoms.
It is intended to complement recommended screening such as mammogram, colonoscopy and Pap smear, and may reduce the need for some tumour-marker blood tests. Discuss what is right for you with our doctor.
It is an upgrade, not an add-on. When you choose the upgrade price, the standard tumour-marker blood tests in your health screening package are replaced by the LucenceINSIGHT liquid biopsy, rather than added on top. If you prefer to keep the package’s tumour markers and take LucenceINSIGHT separately, the standalone price applies.
Typically about 2 to 3 weeks depending on the tier. We will let you know when your report is ready.
Yes. Home-based phlebotomy charges of $25 to $40 apply depending on your location in Singapore. WhatsApp us to schedule a home-based appointment.
A comprehensive medical report prepared and reviewed by the doctor will be provided to you with clear information regarding your results and next steps required, should there be any abnormal findings.
We do recommend that you still consider reviewing your results with the doctor for further clarity and individualised advice. Kindly note that additional charges shall apply for consultations and/or treatments prescribed, as these are not included in the package prices listed.
Test-performance figures are from validation studies and may vary by cancer type, stage and population.
