No. Our packages no longer require overnight fasting. Just indicate at registration that you are not fasting, and your results are just as accurate. If you prefer to fast, plain water is allowed.
If I prefer to fast, can I drink plain water while fasting?
Sure! Plain water is allowed during the fasting period. In fact, it is important that you stay hydrated to prevent difficulty during the blood taking process. Dehydration can cause veins to collapse easily and make blood sample collection more difficult.
How are urine and stool tests collected?
Your urine sample should be collected on the same day that you’re submitting the sample. However, it is recommended to avoid the very first sample in the morning after you’ve woken up. Do ensure you collect the mid-stream sample as well. Your stool sample should be submitted within 24 hours of collection (the night before or the morning you come in).
When will the results come back?
Typically within 3 to 5 working days. Some tests may take longer due to laboratory or batch processing. Check with us on the day of your screening.
Are consultation and treatment charges included?
A comprehensive medical report prepared and reviewed by the doctor will be provided to you with clear information regarding your results and next steps required, should there be any abnormal findings. We do recommend that you still consider reviewing your results with the doctor for further clarity and individualised advice. Kindly note that additional charges shall apply for consultations and/or treatments prescribed, as these are not included in the package prices listed.
Can this be done home-based?
Yes. Home-based phlebotomy charges apply and range from $25 to $40 depending on your location in Singapore. WhatsApp us to enquire now and schedule a home-based appointment.
Can I opt out of the chest X-ray?
Certainly. The chest X-ray uses a very low dose of radiation and is low-risk, but you are free to opt out if you’re not comfortable. The package price stays the same either way.
What’s the difference between the packages?
Each package builds upon the one before it, with additional tests and/or scans. For a full test-by-test breakdown, see our package comparison page. Compare all packages →
I’d like to claim my health screening from my company. Will I get a receipt/invoice if I purchase online?
Yes! We can provide you with an official invoice from our clinic even if you’ve purchased the package online. You may use the invoice provided to aid in your claim(s) submission. Just drop us a WhatsApp message or email to let us know!
If I’m feeling unwell on the day of my screening, should I postpone my appointment?
Yes, you should postpone your health screening appointment if you’re feeling unwell. Results of certain components in this package may be affected by illnesses or other inflammatory processes. To get an accurate overview of your health, it would be best to undergo these tests when you’re well.
Can I still do the health screening on my period / when I’m having my menses?
Yes, you may still opt to do the blood test component of your health screening during your period. However, it would not be ideal to undergo a Pap smear or collect urine & stool samples. Your urine sample and/or Pap smear should be collected/performed at least 7 days before or after your menstruation cycle.
How long will the process take?
The entire process will take about 30-45 minutes in the clinic. This includes taking the necessary measurements (height & weight, blood pressure) and undergoing the blood sample collection and resting ECG. If the clinic is facing high patient-volume on that day, there may be some waiting time depending on room availability. We apologise in advance for the inconvenience caused and seek your kind understanding.
