Questions, Answered
Which health screening package should I choose?
It depends on your age, risk factors, lifestyle and family history. If you are screening for the first time, Essential or Executive is a solid baseline. Take the quiz, or book a consultation and our doctor will recommend what fits.
Is a doctor consultation included?
A comprehensive medical report, prepared and reviewed by the doctor, will be provided to you with clear information regarding your results and next steps required, should there be any abnormal findings.
We do recommend that you still consider reviewing your results with the doctor for further clarity and individualised advice. Kindly note that additional charges shall apply for consultations and/or treatments prescribed, as these are not included in the package prices listed.
Can I customise my own package?
Yes. You can add individual tests to a package, though building a screen test by test is usually less value for money than a ready-made package. Tell us what you would like to add and we will arrange it in the same blood draw, so there is no second visit.
Is fasting required?
Our general screening packages no longer require overnight fasting; the lab has removed that requirement so there is one less barrier to getting screened. Just let us know at registration that you are not fasting, and your results will be just as accurate.
Some ultrasound scans and focused screens, such as the Metabolic Screen, do require fasting. If you are not sure, just drop us a WhatsApp to enquire on any preparations required for your appointment.
How do I prepare for my screening?
For urine and stool samples, collect the sample bottles from the clinic beforehand or on the day of your appointment. For home-based screenings that are booked at least one week in advance, we can mail the bottles to you in advance, and you hand your samples to our team at your appointment.
How long does the screening take?
About 30 to 45 minutes in-clinic, including your measurements (height, weight, blood pressure), the blood collection and a resting ECG. On busy days there may be some waiting time, and we appreciate your patience.
Can I screen at home?
Yes. Home-based sample collection is available for most packages, with an additional phlebotomy fee of $25 to $40 depending on your location in Singapore, subject to staff availability. The resting ECG is done in-clinic. Some focused screens are in-clinic only.
Can I claim from my company or insurer?
Yes. We can provide an official itemised invoice to support your claim. Just WhatsApp or email us and we will sort it out.
